Protect air and land from toxic uranium mining waste

Uranium mining has left a toxic legacy across the Mountain West, impacting Native communities more than most.
Tons of waste from these mines are dumped in pits or ponds where leftover uranium decays into radon - a deadly gas that causes lung cancer.
EPA hasn't updated radon air pollution standards since 1989.
Until now. Finally, EPA is proposing a new rule.
Their plan? Make things worse! End radon air pollution monitoring. Allow toxic waste pits of unlimited size. And use the same control technologies industry has used for decades.
Tell EPA to scrap their proposed rule and really regulate toxic uranium mining waste.
