EPA & USDA: Fix your broken systems

Stop dicamba. When it comes to new GE crops, the federal decisionmaking process simply isn’t working — and it’s most certainly not serving the interests of farmers, rural communities or public health.
USDA’s approval last week of Monsanto’s latest GE seed/herbicide combo shows just how broken things are. According to the agency’s own data, planting these new cotton and soy crops would dramatically increase the use of Monsanto’s harmful, drift-prone herbicide, dicamba. USDA officials gave the green light anyway, and EPA is expected to go along.
Send the email below to tell the leaders of USDA and EPA that they can — and must — do better.
