USDA, time for stronger GE rules



GE corn fieldWe know genetically engineered (GE) crops are allowed on the market with insufficient oversight — and too much emphasis on what works for corporations like Monsanto instead of what works for farmers. Right now, we have an opportunity to push for better policies. 
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is starting from scratch when it comes to assessing GE crops — and the agency is asking for input. Before the public comment period closes on June 22, join us in telling USDA we need stronger regulations that protect farmers, rural communities and the environment!
