I support Superfund in the wake of Gold King

Nine months ago, toxic mine waste flooded the Animas River in Colorado, leaving a bright orange plume of pollution in its wake.
Finally, EPA has decided to act to help the communities surrounding the Gold King mine and other similar mines and hazardous waste sites that have been polluted by toxic industries.
EPA is considering adding eight sites, including the area around the Gold King mine, to the Superfund National Priorities List (NPL). Being named to the list gives communities access to federal funds to help with cleanup.
Municipalities, tribes and elected officials along the Animas and San Juan Rivers have come out in support of such a listing. Stand with them to support Superfund designation.
Support Superfund cleanup at the Gold King mine and in polluted communities across the country!
